Download a Matterport tour to view offline

Matterport plays its tours online only, so bring the space over first and then download all of it.

Why Matterport tours stay online

Matterport plays each tour from its own servers and gives you no offline copy.

Matterport's support pages say its 3D tours cannot be downloaded for offline viewing. The MatterPak and the E57 give you a mesh or a point cloud, not a tour you can walk through, and a space stops opening when its plan ends.

Bring the space to Spacery

Paste the space's link, or upload its E57 or a job from the Capture app.

The link import copies every panorama, the 3D model and the Mattertags in a few minutes. The E57 export holds the most detail, and a Capture app job works when the scan is still on your iPad or iPhone.

Download everything

One button on the space's page gives you every file in a single zip.

Open the space in your account and choose Download everything under Keep a copy. The zip holds the panoramas and the 3D model or splats exactly as they are stored, the tours and tags you made, the space's details and a README that says what each file is.

Downloads come with hosting, so a free preview needs hosting before it can be downloaded.

Open it with no connection

The open source viewer opens the unzipped folder as it is.

The SPHR viewer runs on your own computer or server and opens the folder with every panorama, the dollhouse and the tags, without asking Spacery for anything. The files are ordinary JPEG, GLB and JSON, so they stay readable long after any one app is gone.
