Import a Matterport space from its link
Paste the link to a space you own and Spacery brings it over, with no E57 to order.
Paste the link
Add a space and choose to bring over a Matterport space.
Paste the space's my.matterport.com link. A Matterport Cloud or Discover page works too, and so does the embed code from your website. Confirm that you own the space or have the owner's permission, and Spacery checks the link before anything is copied.
The space has to open for anyone who has its link. If a link cannot be copied, because the space is private, missing or too large, the space says why so you can fix it.
What comes over
Every scan, the 3D model and the Mattertags.
Spacery copies the panorama for every scan position at the best size Matterport offers for the link, the 3D model with its textures and the cover picture, and builds a tour you walk from scan to scan with a dollhouse view. Scans the owner hid in Matterport stay out.
Your Mattertags come along with their titles, descriptions, colors and photos, and are saved with the space.
How long it takes
Most spaces are ready within minutes.
In testing, a space of about 140 scans downloaded in under half a minute and was ready a few minutes later. The copy stops at 20 gigabytes or 20,000 files, which covers all but the very largest spaces.
Link or E57
The E57 export still holds the most detail.
A link gives panoramas at 2048 pixels a side, while the E57 holds the full resolution scans and a dense point cloud. If you can order the E57, that route keeps the most detail, and the link is the quickest way to move many spaces.
Spaces you own
Bring over only what you own or have permission to move.
Link import is for moving your own work. Spacery asks you to confirm that you own the space or have the owner's permission before it copies anything.
