View a space in a VR headset

Open the space in the headset's own browser, with nothing to install.

Open the link in the headset

Use the browser that comes with the headset.

On a Meta Quest open the space's link in the Meta Quest Browser, and on Apple Vision Pro open it in Safari. When the browser can show VR, the viewer adds a headset button in the top corner. Choose it to step inside.

Look and move around

Turn your head to look, and point to move.

Point a controller or your hand at a ring on the floor and press the trigger or pinch to move there. The thumbstick turns in steps and moves to the next spot ahead, and in a splat it walks. Each move fades through black, which keeps most people comfortable.

Guided tours in VR

The tour's text shows on a panel beside you.

Each stop turns you toward what it is about. The A or X button goes to the next stop and B or Y goes back. Scavenger hunts work too, with the clue and the hint on the same panel.

From your own website

An embedded space can open in a headset too.

The embed code from the Share button already allows VR. If you write your own iframe, add xr-spatial-tracking to its allow list or the headset button will not appear.
