Share GLB and USDZ models

Scanned and designed models open in the browser, lit the way they were made.

Files that work

GLB and USDZ are the most common.

GLB and glTF files from scanning apps and design tools, USDZ files from Apple devices and product catalogs, and OBJ files with their materials and textures in a ZIP all work. FBX, STL and DAE open as well. Color is kept whether it lives in textures, in the vertices or in the materials.

Lighting that suits the model

Photo scans keep their captured light and designed models get scene lights.

A scan whose textures already hold the light of the place is shown unlit, so it looks like the photographs it came from. A designed model with flat colors or PBR materials gets lights so its shape reads clearly.

Heavy and animated models

Big meshes are simplified and animations are frozen.

Meshes with more than one and a half million faces are simplified without losing their textures, so they load on a phone. Rigged or animated models open in the pose of their first frame.

Models inside other spaces

Models can also be placed inside a scan or a splat.

The tour builder places models inside any space you host, from your own files or from a library of nearly five thousand models. Your agent can place them for you too.
