# Spacery > Spacery hosts 3D captures as virtual spaces that open in any browser and can be shared with a link. It is open sourcing its tools for building digital twins and simulations. People upload Gaussian splats, 360 photos and video, raw Insta360 files, phone video, E57 and LAZ point clouds or GLB and USDZ models, and a sandboxed agent builds the space. The viewer and the processing tools are MIT licensed in the SPHR repository at https://github.com/lukehollis/sphr. Agents can publish captures and build tours through the Spacery MCP connector, whose setup steps are at https://spacery.dev/agents.md. People sign in and upload at https://app.spacery.dev. ## About - [Spacery is open sourcing its tools for building digital twins](https://spacery.dev/about): Why Spacery is open source, and how it keeps spaces readable for the long term. ## Migrating from Matterport - [Move your spaces from Matterport](https://spacery.dev/migrate/matterport): Three ways to move Matterport spaces, and how Matterport and Spacery compare. - [Import a Matterport E57 export](https://spacery.dev/migrate/matterport/e57): Order the E57 from Matterport and upload it as it is. - [Import a job from the Matterport Capture app](https://spacery.dev/migrate/matterport/capture-app): Export the job from the Capture app and it imports as a measured space. - [Import a Matterport space from its link](https://spacery.dev/migrate/matterport/link): Paste the link to a Matterport space you own and it comes over as a tour. ## Formats - [Upload any 3D data](https://spacery.dev/formats): Every kind of capture Spacery turns into a space. - [Host and share 3D Gaussian splats](https://spacery.dev/formats/gaussian-splats): Trained 3DGS PLY files and older .splat files, leveled and framed for you. - [Turn 360 photos into a virtual tour](https://spacery.dev/formats/360-photos): Stitched 360 photos or raw Insta360 stills, one stop for every photo. - [Turn Insta360 and 360 video into a tour or a 3D space](https://spacery.dev/formats/360-video): 360 video and raw Insta360 files, stitched for you and built into a tour or a splat. - [Turn a phone video into a 3D space](https://spacery.dev/formats/phone-video): Walkthrough videos and overlapping photos, reconstructed into a splat. - [View and share E57 and LAZ point clouds](https://spacery.dev/formats/point-clouds): Laser scans with or without panoramas, from any scanner. - [Share GLB and USDZ models](https://spacery.dev/formats/3d-models): Scanned and designed models, simplified for phones and lit to suit them. ## Agents - [How agents build your space](https://spacery.dev/agents): The sandboxed agent that builds every upload, and publishing from your own agent with the MCP connector. - [Agent setup](https://spacery.dev/agents.md): Instructions an agent follows to install the Spacery connector. ## Guides - [Guides](https://spacery.dev/guides): Step by step guides for moving, tagging, embedding and sharing spaces. - [Keep your Matterport spaces after you cancel](https://spacery.dev/guides/keep-matterport-after-cancelling): What happens to Matterport spaces when a plan ends, and how to move them all first. - [Download a Matterport tour to view offline](https://spacery.dev/guides/download-matterport-tour): Bring a Matterport space over, then download every file and open it offline. - [Keep your Mattertags and add new tags](https://spacery.dev/guides/export-mattertags): Mattertags that come with a Matterport link, and tags with photos, videos and links in any space. - [Embed a 3D tour on your website](https://spacery.dev/guides/embed-3d-tour): An embed code that opens at the view you pick, and where it goes in each site builder. - [View a space in a VR headset](https://spacery.dev/guides/view-in-vr): Walk through a tour or a splat in a VR headset's browser. - [Make a virtual field trip or scavenger hunt](https://spacery.dev/guides/virtual-field-trip): Guided tours and scavenger hunts for a class, drafted by an agent and shared with one link. ## Optional - [Full text of these pages](https://spacery.dev/llms-full.txt): Every page above as plain markdown. - [SPHR on GitHub](https://github.com/lukehollis/sphr): The open source viewer, importers, processing worker and agent skills. - [Spacery connector on GitHub](https://github.com/lukehollis/spacery): The MCP server, listed in the official MCP Registry as io.github.lukehollis/spacery.
